I am really, really excited. Right now we (the band) are looking for an amplifier and 3 mics. We're going to buy it either this weekend or next weekend if things work out as planned. I can't wait.
We might even be recording this weekend, which would be friggin awesome. We're just trying to get a demo out right now. A couple of things might get in the way though. But if we do, and it turns out okay, I'll post it here and on our myspace/purevolume. That would also mean that we could get a gig pretty soon too.
I bought a distortion/overdrive/feedback pedal this weekend and I haven't even gotten to play with it yet. I'm getting my amp back tomorrow. It's at our "studio." So I'll probably get zero sleep tomorrow night.
Oh and I got fucking plastered this weekend. So many shots, some maragaritas, SAKI! . . . trash can.
I think I might be going to see the 300 for my birthday (thurs.) this weekend. I'm sure there will be more drinks to follow. And hopefully I'll make my way over to get the Arcade Fire's new album "Neon Bible."
I bought Placebo's "Meds" today. Kick ass.
