king biscuit

This weekend I'm traveling to Helena, AR to go to the King Biscuit Blues Fest with a few friends. It should be a lot of fun. There's a really cool music store there that I can't wait to go in. It has lots of rare guitars, autographed instruments, old photographs, etc. I plan on taking the camera so maybe I'll post some pictures from the trip later.

I'm thinking about changing my major to Journalism now.

Before I had said English, and then people would ask, "do you want to be a lawyer?" And I would say, "Hell no. I work with them all the time. If you want the perfect combination of stress and boredom with stress weighing noticeably heavier, then maybe YOU should look into it."

So I got to thinking about what I wanted to do with my English major after I got out of school. Then I realized that I don't know, except for the desire to write. For once I decided to choose my career and then find a major that suits it. Lo and behold, journalism comes to mind and it seems really appealing, but I am going to check it out some more before I have to go through all of the formalities.
